Hello Ponnu,
Mant thanks for the replies to the two questions. Talk on standards in KM seems to be popping up all over the place these days so, in this light I have a question:
1. How do you think the presence of KM standards would positively affect the progress of applied KM in business and the design and development of KM related software?
2. What, in your view, would be the most negative impact of applying standards to KM standards in the design and implementation of software?
On the brighter side, the ease of access to standard and new case material in a business context may provide us with greater opportunities to contribute, and to create new and better ways of doing existing, new and better things. This is another posotive aspect of KM and it would be both interesting and very helpful to know what, in your opinion, would allow this aspect of KM to be of even greater use and interest to you?
Fnally, I guess that the reason that a lot of us here are involved and interested in KM is that we do find it (still) fascinating and interesting, what do you think we have to do to create a wider interest in KM and how do we sustain that interest long enough for it to materialize into something practical or at least the support of KM oriented initiatives in business and government?
Many thanks and best regards,
Martyn
