I find getting people to contribute the most difficult thing - whether it's to add content to our intranet, or to carry out project reviews. The more 'interesting' stuff, like peer assist sessions, are selling themselves in my organisation now, but if the knowledge work is uncomfortable or boring for contributors often it doesn't happen. So my question is not one of KM definition hunting, but this:
In a time of much organisational change, what carrots (and sticks) can I use to get people to share carry out knowledge work?
answers on a postcard please
