Ron,
all I know is that I assume the existence of a physical reality, based on my awareness of my perception of it. From ancient philosophers to 'modern' hollywood filmmakers (e.g. The Matrix) have thought(!) of the possibility that the 'real' physical reality differs from 'our' perceived physical reality.
You state at the start of this (interesting) converstation that knwoledge is about social or physical reality, and therefor KM must be about those.
I think that KM is only about social reality (but I can not proove that 'beyond reasonable doubt', as you requested). My intuition tells me that knowledge is the stuff that dreams are woven of: within the realm of the social, and not the physical reality.
Could you clarify your ideas on KM with respect to social reality, but especially KM with respect to physical reality?
Regards,
Daan
