I am trying to make sense of this big wild world that is Knowledge Management by creating a map or model of the make up of KM.
I don't know whether it is possible, or whether it already exists (no point in reinventing the wheel).
What I am trying to achieve is to identify the technologies (not the products) which form the basis of KM (e.g workflow, boolean logic), link them to generic applications, and then identify actual developers/products, either in vertical markets or other.Anybody got any ideas, or would anybody be interested in working on this?
My reasoning behind doing this is that, as some of us are aware, KM is sometimes used very randomly. If we had a good generic map of all that is in KM (with explanations / definitions), we could provide guidance for all the buyers out there.
Any help would be most welcomed!
Thanks
Anne-Marie
