Greetings Martyn
We search for certainty because of our insecurity…for which we have invented technology and worshiped Super human beings (Gods) and this is the reason we have alienated from human beings.
What's certain? A butterfly taking off in the jungles of Amazon results in a sandstorm in Magnolia or a blizzard in Alaska. How can we know only the valuable business knowledge as we dont even know what is affecting what and moreover we are the part of the phenomenon.
Knowledge is a belief to take action, thus treat it as a means and not the end; better the means superior the ends. Some times one drop of water will quench thirst sometimes gallons, it all depends on the requirement for taking action.
Thus we need to acquire knowledge beyond the locals of time and space, only then we can manage the unmanageable and learn the unknowable. We also need to understand that we don't know very much about anything and will actually never will.
