I think the hot topic today is people profiling. The travel, hotel, marketing, hospitality industries keep massive knowledge databases on customers. I know, I work for a corp. that does all the above. Some of these knowledge bases are so detailed as to know if you like you're Martini shaken or stir. Even more invasive (IMO) is tracking someone surfing the Internet to gain knowledge on where, what, when, how often you do anything. Now, is this good or bad?
